February 19-21: State Wrestling

This last weekend Tyler Hays of South Holt traveled to Columbia to compete in the Missouri State Wrestling Championships. Tyler wrestled well but had some bad luck as he was defeated twice. Once by Mike Kissell of Whitfield and once by Craig Clark of Blair Oaks.

February 13-14: District Wrestling

Congratulations to Tyler Hays for finishing fourth at districts. Tyler advances to state next week in Columbia.

This weekend the District Wrestling Tournament was hosted at Mid-Buchannan High School. South Holt Wrestlers competed at this tournament to advance to state. Although the South Holt Wrestling team started of rocky, they were able to come back on Saturday and Tyler Hays of South Holt advanced to state.

February 5: Gallatin and Stanberry

On Thursday the South Holt Knights hosted the Bulldogs from Gallatin and Stanberry. It was Senior Night and South Holt's Tyler Hays and his parents were recognized for their contributions to South Holt Wrestling. The South Holt Knights wrestled well with Tyler Hays and Daniel Bowness each getting wins. Tyler Hays defeated Brandon Ness of Gallatin 6-5. Daniel Bowness pinned Cosgrove of Gallatin.

January 27: Rock Port Dual

This Tuesday the South Holt Knights traveled to Rock Port to a dual with the Blue Jays. Matthew Hufford and Tyler Hays recorded wins for the Knights. All the Knight wrestlers wrestled hard and will be ready to compete in the GRC Tournament this weekend.

January 24: Lathrop

On January 24 the South Holt Knights traveled to Lathrop., Missouri to compete in the Lathrop Tournament.

January 22: South Holt Meet

The South Holt Knights took on the Tarkio Indians and the North Platte Panthers at home this week.
